Grace's History

Grace Evangelical Church held its first service in the Madison area on November 14, 1998.

In December 2003, 17 acres of land were purchased on County AB.

On Sunday, October 3, 2004, ground was broken for our new building. View photos of the groundbreaking.

Sunday, June 19,  2005,  our new building was dedicated to the Lord.

Evangelical means that our commitment is to the authority of the Bible as our only trustworthy and sufficient basis for faith and practice, and that we make known Jesus Christ as the answer to one’s basic need to have a personal relationship with the true, living, personal, and eternal biblical God.

Our church government is congregational, indicating we depend on the active participation of our leadership and people in their decisions and ministries. We are also independent, meaning we govern, with Christ’s direction, our own church life and are not affiliated with any organization or denomination.
